Jules:

LOVE this stuff... The dynamics of the track are just great. What kind of ARP did you use at the beginning?

julessmokespot responds:

Hello!

Sorry for the late response, but I didn't use an ARP, I just used the Subtractor synth (Reason) modulated it and just changed the frequency in the track.

Hay Stash- VERY nice! Love the hook.... I can imagine it fitting nicely in a number of settings (A full blown House track, a bouncing Techno track, or even a lengthy Trance piece.)

Sound, production, mixing and mastering are superb! Seriously!!!

Hey Quarl- VERY original. I LOVE electronic music and this is some GOOD stuff here. How did you achieve that broken record effect that starts at 1:59??? The entire track is well produced, mixed and mastered. I really loved all the dissonance that is thematic throughout.

T

Quarl responds:

Thank mew. That scratching thingy you mentioned is just a shit ton of modulating a really sloppy synth patch. Sawtooths, distortions, automations, pitch bends, filters, etc. My rsn. files are typically big ol sloppy messes.

Edit: Also, you have to remember to hit a shit ton of random buttons. Personally, I find that the best way to be creative is to just kind of close your eyes, toss paint on the canvas, and try to flesh something out.

Edit Edit: Unless you were refering to the part where I just copy and pasted the same thing over and over?

Jacob,

All I can say is HOLY S*#@! The composition, flow, arrangement and dynamics of the music were excellent. I am a HUGE movie lover and, hence, a HUGE lover of movie scores. GOOD movie scores, that is. There are a number of places in this piece that remind me a great deal of Christopher Young, which is saying alot as he is one of my favorite composers of thematic movie scores. You REALLY should be doing this for a living my friend (and a GOOD living at that). I am highly impressed.

Hey T.... I am highly impressed... Thoroughly enjoyed listening to the ENTIRE track.. The chords have a very ethereal feel.

Keep em coming.

techwave responds:

Thanks man! i really appreciate it! Means alot. I tried to keep it simple, and not too long to lose the listeners intrest. And more to come! Have a good one.

Techwave

Very well done! Enjoyed it thoroughly. Which DAW do you use for production? Very clean and professional sounding.

Keep em coming!

Radioaction responds:

Thanks for the feedback and support! I mainly use FL10 Pro. I just spend a lot of time mixing and mastering.

Hey OC.... I am a HUGE Electronic music fan and just stumbled onto this webpage by accident and saw they had music. Yours was the first song I pulled up and WHOA..... EXCELLENT STUFF!!~!!

I am highly impressed not only by your musicality, but by your production abilities... It sounds SO professional!

Keep it up!!!!!!

T

OcularNebula responds:

thanks, that means a lot

I'm always trying to improve my production methods and habits, since, even if you have good ideas, you might be shortchanged on the quality of the resulting product if you can't execute your vision appropriately
